Beauty often lives in what’s unfinished or flawed.
Alec Bradley’s Kintsugi Wabi Sabi draws inspiration from the Japanese practice of Kintsugi, where broken objects are restored with precious metal and celebrated rather than hidden. Rooted in the philosophy of Wabi Sabi, this art form honors character, variation, and authenticity—an ideal reflection of premium cigars, where no two leaves are ever exactly alike. Each wrapper tells its own story, marked by subtle differences that contribute to the whole. As brand ambassador Bradley Rubin explained, the goal was to craft “a cigar with soul,” and this release delivers that spirit in abundance.
The experience begins with striking presentation. The box design mirrors Kintsugi itself, accented with gold-veined detailing that mimics repaired cracks, setting the tone for what’s inside. Open it up to reveal warmly hued cigars wrapped in a lustrous Ecuadorian Habano leaf, rich with natural oils. Beneath the wrapper lies a Mexican binder embracing select Nicaraguan long-fillers, producing a medium-to-full-bodied profile. The flavor journey unfolds with layers of wood, pepper, cream, and cinnamon—an expressive, thoughtfully crafted cigar that proves imperfection can be its own kind of perfection.
